Rafael Edwards

Mr. Edwards graduated from Polytechnical University of Puerto Rico studying Mechanical Engineering with specialty in Power Plants and Turbo-Machinery in 1999, and has since dedicated himself to the field of renewable energies. In 2000, serving as SBC President, Mr. Edwards designed nearly 100 systems of aqueducts with solar energy for poor communities in Dominican Republican and 300 more solar facilities in Puerto Rico. In 2002, the solar illumination project of Palmas Del Mar, made by Mr. Edwards with VAR Construction, was awarded Project of the Year by the Engineers and Surveyors Association of Puerto Rico.
